Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience driving semi-trucks and/or cargo vans.
• Must maintain a valid CDL, including HazMat endorsement.
• Must have a valid medical certification and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety, traffic laws, and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Cleared to work by the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport cargo to designated locations.
• Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation: logs, bills of lading, delivery receipts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Ensure cargo is secured and protected during transit.
• Verify delivery details and accuracy of cargo.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Address customer questions regarding deliveries.
• Maintain driving logs per Hours of Service regulations.
• Submit fuel receipts and other required paperwork.
• Comply with all safety and environmental policies.
