First Student in San Antonio, TX is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school. The role includes a split shift with morning and afternoon routes and guaranteed hours per week.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
• Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass a DOT drug test and physical examination.
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school.
• Utilize industry-leading technology to support daily routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Maintain compliance with all state, local, and company safety standards.
