Qualifications

• CDL—Class B or higher with Passenger (P) endorsement required; S endorsement preferred or must be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years verified commercial or passenger vehicle driving experience.
• Clean driving record; MVR reviewed; no DUI/reckless driving in past 5 years.
• Pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read maps/GPS and follow trip instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students, staff, and authorized passengers for school-related trips and events.
• Operate school-owned vehicles (Sprinter vans and buses) in compliance with laws.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and reports.
• Adhere to traffic laws and transportation policies; ensure passengers are seated.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information; follow conduct policies.
• Evening, weekend, and occasional early morning trips as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.
