Essential Functions:

1. Customer Service
2. Provides SMART customer service by adhering to Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
3. Engages with customers to understand their needs and assists with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
4. Responds promptly and knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when needed.
5. Shows sincere appreciation to customers.
6. Provides information on stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s products and services.
7. Coordinates with customers and delivery personnel regarding delivery schedules and arrangements.

In-stock

1. Plans delivery activities, prepares loading tickets, and ensures timely delivery of merchandise.
2. Prepares and loads merchandise onto trucks according to delivery schedules and payload limits.
3. Inspects products before loading or assisting customers with loading.
4. Verifies invoice items against loaded quantities by checking descriptions, items, and model numbers.

Clean and Safe Stores

1. Ensures loads are secure, compliant with DOT regulations, and safe.
2. Updates delivery and route status in the system for tracking.
3. Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery.
4. Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness, and reports repairs for delivery vehicles.
5. Completes DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance.
6. Detects and reports shoplifting, theft, and security risks.
7. Maintains store cleanliness and organization, adhering to safety standards.
8. Operates store equipment as required by the specific role.
9. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class A CDL License (for multi-unit CMV locations) or Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement (for single-unit CMV locations).
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass MVR screening.
• Ability to obtain required sales licenses or registrations.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

Preferences:

• 1 year experience driving semi-trucks or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months experience operating a forklift or Moffett for onloading/offloading.
