Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is looking for a casual/on-call Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) in Denver. This role moves box trucks up to 26 feet and may involve tractors and trailers for CDL Class A. Part-time shifts vary and can support the service department with deliveries and pickups.

Qualified candidates will have a CDL Class B, at least 2 years of driving experience, a clean DMV record, and the ability to work independently. English proficiency and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required.
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred; domiciled in the U.S.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and provide good customer service.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Willingness to travel and work the required schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report findings.
• Obtain receipts or signatures and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Assist service department with parts and equipment delivery.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
