Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Wood Dale, IL is hiring a hardworking Truck Driver to join our team. Since 1939, we’ve built a reputation for reliability and customer service, and we deliver products to clients with safety and efficiency.

You’ll be responsible for loading, delivering, and unloading goods, maintaining your vehicle, and supporting warehouse operations when not on the road. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment driver's file.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds repetitively.
• Able to lift and move wheel assemblies.
• Strong communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to clients on schedule.
• Load and unload at client locations and warehouses.
• Support warehouse operations when not delivering.
• Maintain a clean, functional vehicle.
• Coordinate with manager for other duties.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to our valued clients
• Load and unload products at client locations and warehouses with care and efficiencyDeliver products reliably in all weather conditions
• Provide support in the warehouse when not on delivery routes
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle
• Other duties as assigned by manager

What You Need:

• Valid Class A Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, pull and/or push up to 100 pounds repetitively
• Able to lift and move commercial, passenger, and light truck wheel assemblies repetitively
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
