Job summary

ALDI is seeking a part-time cashier and stocker in Decatur, IL. As a cashier, you will provide friendly, efficient checkout service and handle cash operations. As a stocker, you will maintain shelves, follow planograms, and assist with overall store merchandising.

Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with scheduled increases over the next five years. Roles require occasional early morning shifts, weekend availability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with others and maintain accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS system to scan and process customer purchases.
• Assist customers and stock shelves and displays.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain merchandising standards and inventory procedures.
• Support store management in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
