Job summary

ALDI seeks enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers in Chicago, IL. You will provide friendly checkout service and help keep shelves stocked to ensure a great shopping experience. Roles include cash handling, stocking, and ensuring safety and order throughout the store.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with scheduled increases in years 2–5. This is a part-time position with fewer than 30 hours per week and requires 18+ with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in a retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process purchases accurately using the POS system and assist management with issues.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Stock shelves and displays following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety by following company policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory procedures and product handling.
• Support store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
