Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring part-time cashiers and stockers in Missouri. You will provide friendly checkout service or help keep shelves stocked to ensure a great shopping experience. Starting wage is $18.50 per hour with yearly increases through Year 5 to $20.50.

Roles require availability for early shifts, with fewer than 30 hours per week on average. Duties include customer service, operating POS, inventory adherence, safety, and maintaining merchandising standards across store zones.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to follow store policies and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Model and fulfill all customer service principles and escalate concerns to store management as necessary.
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assist store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Comply with all established company policies and processes.
• Support store management in providing a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Maintain store zones and merchandising standards at all times.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Properly utilize POS system to scan and process purchases; inform management of scanning concerns.
• Adhere to cash policies; follow line policy and open additional lanes as required.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms; arrive by 5:00am.
