Job summary

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers in West Hartford, CT. As a cashier, you will provide friendly checkout service using the POS system; as a stocker, you’ll keep shelves neat and well merchandised, helping ensure a great shopping experience.

Positions offer a starting wage of $20.00 per hour with incremental increases in following years. Typical hours are fewer than 30 per week, with opportunities for additional shifts based on store needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to interpret and apply operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service using the POS system.
• Adhere to cash policies and line policies to ensure smooth checkout.
• Assist with curbside pickup and item retrieval for customers.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandising standards.
• Identify hazards and help maintain a safe working environment.
• Support management in achieving operational efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
