Job summary

CNRG MAC's Hardware Fargo is seeking a part-time Cashier to deliver aggressive customer service in a busy store in Fargo, ND. You will greet customers, process transactions, and assist with stocking and merchandising at the register area.

The role is on-site with flexible weekend/evening availability. Prior cashier experience is helpful; the job is hourly with opportunities to learn every day in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be customer service oriented with strong communication skills.
• Able to greet customers and process transactions accurately.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Ability to count money and manage a cash drawer with accuracy.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with stocking as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and at the register area.
• Process sales, refunds and exchanges in a timely, accurate manner.
• Verify quantities, descriptions and prices for transactions.
• Handle cash, checks and credit card payments according to policy.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining an orderly checkout area.
• Provide friendly service and direct customers to items as needed.
• Maintain daily deposits and cash controls for the drawer.
