Compass Group, North America at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT is hiring for part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER. You will operate the POS, assist the Chef, and keep cashier and coffee stations clean. Schedule includes weekends and nights; prior cash handling and customer service experience is required.

Pay is $16.94 per hour. Essential duties include preparing foods, handling cashier tasks, stocking, serving customers, and ensuring cash deposits are accurate.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling and customer service experience is required.
• Experience with POS system operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale system and assist the Chef.
• Prepare foods and catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties with cash accuracy and deposits.
• Maintain cleanliness of cashier and coffee stations.
• Serve customers at all retail areas.
• Set up serving line and daily items.
• Record temperatures and rotate stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
