Lowe's is seeking a part-time cashier in Winterville, NC to provide fast, friendly checkout experiences. You’ll help customers find value, answer questions, and complete transactions with accuracy while supporting a welcoming store environment.

You’ll work mainly at the register, may assist in other departments, and benefit from a strong benefits program including health options, tuition assistance, a company 401(k) match, an Employee Stock Purchase Program, and a 10% associate discount.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
