Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for part-time cashier positions at our Seattle location. The role involves handling cash transactions, operating the register, and ensuring accurate sales records. Prior cashier experience is preferred, with emphasis on friendly customer service and adherence to cash handling procedures.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with additional weekend shifts. The base pay rate is $21.30 per hour, with benefits available for full-time and part-time

Qualifications

• Prior cashier experience is preferred, but not required.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions and verifying cash drawer.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Issues receipts and handles refunds according to standard procedures.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
