Job summary

H&S Energy Products in Truckee, CA is seeking a part-time Cashier/Customer Service Representative to support daily store operations, cashiering, and a welcoming guest experience. You will ensure product presentation, food/beverage quality, and friendly service while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

You will operate the POS system, process transactions, communicate promotions, and assist customers with questions. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism to create a welcoming environment.
• Provide accurate, friendly service at checkout and maintain a positive attitude.
• Follow the Four Steps of Customer Service and support Mystery Shop performance.
• Promote current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations.
• Operate POS system for cash, credit, and debit transactions and handle refunds per policy.
• Stock shelves and ensure correct pricing and attractive displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the store and food-prep areas.
• Adhere to shift duties, assist with car wash operations if applicable, and support team as needed.
