H&S Energy Products is seeking a Part-Time Cashier/Customer Service Representative in San Diego. You will greet customers, handle checkout, promote promotions, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining store presentation and safety standards.

This role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and efficient operation in a fuel-retail setting. CPR/First Aid is a plus, with flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service at checkout while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow the company’s Four Steps of Customer Service with every interaction to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and Mystery Shop performance.
• Communicate current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations to enhance customer engagement.
• Represent the company with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for all transactions.
• Ensure correct change, receipts, and refunds are processed per policy.
• Perform cash drops, cash counts, and drawer balancing at shift end.
