Job summary

You will process transactions at POS, apply promotions, stock shelves, ensure food/beverage quality, and uphold safety. Flexible availability, prior retail/food service experience preferred. High school diploma desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service at checkout while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow the company’s Four Steps of Customer Service with every interaction to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.
• Communicate current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations to enhance customer engagement.
• Represent the company with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Operate the POS system accurately for all cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ensure correct change is given, receipts are issued, and refunds or exchanges are processed per policy.
• Perform safe drops, cash counts, and drawer balancing at shift end.
• Identify age-restricted items when necessary and verify transactions.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep products organized and appealing.
• Maintain signage, promotional materials, and pricing accuracy.
• Remove expired or recalled items and report discrepancies.
• Keep the sales floor neat, clean, and clutter-free.
• Prepare and maintain food and beverage stations; follow safety guidelines.
