Job summary

Harris Teeter in Washington, DC area is looking for a part-time associate to take excellent care of our customers by meeting their needs and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Responsibilities include following bagging procedures, offering carryout and parcel pickup, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, returning shopping carts, and supporting the team to boost satisfaction and sales. Must be at least 16, complete training, and read/write in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to present information to customers and associates who speak English.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers.
• Complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, bagger technical skills, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience.
• Follow correct bagging procedures, provide carryout and parcel pickup service, and load merchandise into customer vehicles.
