Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Cashier to deliver quality customer service at the checkout. You will ensure efficient, friendly transactions and help customers have a positive experience in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

You'll:

• Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression
• Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
• Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care

  What You Bring:

  • You're 18 years of age or older
  • You enjoy working with people and providing great service
