Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care is actively seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), or HCAs (Home Care Aides) with experience caring for seniors to join our award-winning team.

We offer competitive pay of $21.00-$23.00 per hour for HCA and CNA caregivers, flexible hours, health/vision/dental insurance, PTO and sick leave, and free continuing education training. You will provide companionship and assist with daily activities in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington or proof of enrollment in a training program.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory).
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Report any unusual incidents to the agency, medical professionals, and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship

Caregiver Requirements:

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
