Job summary

Harmony At Home Senior Care provides one-on-one, in-home care for seniors across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. As a part-time caregiver, you’ll have the flexibility to work the days and hours that fit your life, all while building meaningful connections and making a difference with every visit.

You’ll support individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, routines, and companionship, bringing comfort and peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Punctual, compassionate, and dependable.
• Ability to work in clients’ homes and maintain privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Support mobility and fall prevention.
• Remind clients about medications as directed.

At Harmony At Home Senior Care, we provide one-on-one, in-home care for seniors across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. As a part-time caregiver, you’ll have the flexibility to work the days and hours that fit your life, all while building meaningful connections and making a difference with every visit.

What You’ll Actually Do:

As a caregiver, you’ll support individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, routines, and companionship. Your impact is personal and powerful — you’re not just providing care; you’re bringing comfort and peace of mind.

Personal Care & Support:

• Assist with grooming, dressing, toileting, and bathing as needed

• Help clients move safely throughout the home (mobility support, transfers)

• Encourage independence while offering consistent safety

Homemaking:

• Perform light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying, sweeping

• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and well-organized

• Help create a comfortable home environment for the client

Meal Prep & Nutrition:

• Prepare simple meals or snacks according to client needs

• Encourage hydration and healthy eating habits

• Assist with feeding when necessary

Routine & Safety Monitoring:

• Provide medication reminders

• Help follow daily schedules or care plans

• Be a watchful eye for signs of illness or discomfort

Companionship & Emotional Connection:

• Talk, listen, play games, or go for short walks (if client is able)

• Be a reliable presence to reduce loneliness and build trust

• Help clients feel respected and supported
