Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care of NE San Antonio is hiring part-time caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors in Northern San Antonio and surrounding communities, including Spring Branch, Boerne, Helotes, and Leon Springs. We offer $15.00+ per hour with flexible scheduling (days, evenings, and weekends), plus potential advancement.
Requirements include 1+ year caregiving experience, reliable transportation, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain),
Qualifications
- 1+ year caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, hospital, or rehab).
- Reliable transportation to and from clients.
- Current CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
- TB test or chest X-ray.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attendance record.
- Experience with veterans a plus — we proudly serve our military community.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Medication reminders and mobility/transfer assistance.
- Companionship and daily living support.
- Report changes in client condition to your coordinator.
