Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a Part-Time Caregiver to assist residents with activities of daily living in our community. You will help with grooming, bathing, mobility and enriching daily life, while maintaining a safe environment.

You will transport residents to activities, respond to calls, and review care plans, with a focus on empathy, respect, and safety. CPR is preferred; HS diploma required; prior elder care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming and bathing.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
