Community Horizons is assisting a gentleman in the Nekoosa area in finding a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide in-home personal care and housekeeping support. This is a great opportunity for someone who listens well, communicates clearly, and wants to help a person remain comfortable and independent in his home.

Schedule & Pay

• Hourly rate: $16.32
• Hours: 4:00–6:00 p.m.
• Preferred days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Primary Responsibilities

• Help with organizing and general household cleaning
• Pick up mail and complete laundry
• Occasionally assist with cleaning a litter box
• Assist with showering as needed, primarily washing his hair
• Provide care for leg wraps according to the member’s established routine and instructions
• Offer occasional colostomy-related assistance; because of adhesive sensitivity, the member is unable to wear a standard ostomy bag
