Job summary

Visiting Angels Paris, TX is seeking a Part Time Caregiver to support local seniors in Paris and surrounding areas with compassionate in-home care. Responsibilities include medication assistance, mobility support, personal care, meal planning, and light housekeeping.

Training opportunities in dementia and Alzheimer’s care are offered to grow skills. We value a true caregiver with empathy, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Requires genuine compassion and a calling to help others.
• Familiar with emergency response and first aid.
• Ability to manage time and coordinate tasks.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
