Job summary

Caring Senior Service of Johnson County is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver for flexible in-home senior support in the Joshua area. You’ll tailor care to each client, balancing independence with safety, and help with daily activities and companionship.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and a compassionate, reliable approach. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving, HHA, PCA, or similar experience.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Prepare simple, nutritious meals and tidy living spaces.
• Support daily mobility with walks or therapist-approved stretches.
• Provide medication reminders and note any wellness changes.
• Offer meaningful companionship through conversation, games, or accompany clients to appointments.
