Job summary

Caring Senior Service is seeking a reliable caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care and daily living support for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role emphasizes short evening hours and hands-on assistance, with a focus on safety, dignity, and compassionate companionship.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meals, and driving clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, home care, or personal assistance is required.
• Hands-on experience providing personal care and assisting bedridden clients.
• Comfortable performing bed brief changes and in-bed personal hygiene.
• Ability to use EMR systems and Hoyer lifts.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CPR / First Aid certification is a plus.

• Assist bedridden clients with bed brief changes, hygiene, repositioning, and comfort.
• Assist with transfers and mobility, including use of a Hoyer lift when needed.
• Administer scheduled medications and accurately document care and vital signs, as directed.
• Assist with memory care and dementia routines.
• Prepare balanced meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and ensure the client's safety and comfort.
• Drive clients to appointments or errands when needed.
• Maintain accurate care notes and follow the client's individualized care plan.
