Visiting Angels of Baytown is seeking a Part Time Caregiver to support seniors in the Southeast Houston area, including Baytown and nearby communities. This role offers flexible hours, meaningful daily care, and the chance to grow with a compassionate, client-centered team.

As a Part Time Caregiver, you will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, mobility, and medication reminders, while ensuring safety and dignity for clients at home.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.

• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene.

A Visiting Angels Part Time Caregiver wears many hats as they help our elderly and home-care clients stay at home or recover at home with dignity.

While no two client visits look exactly alike, responsibilities may include:

• Helping clients handle personal care and hygiene

A Part Time Caregiver must also be prepared to act quickly in the case of medical emergencies. This includes adequately reporting any health changes or unusual circumstances. Our caregivers possess the ideal blend of competency, compassion, and professional discernment.
