Job summary

Brighton Center, Inc. is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to support workforce development in Northern Kentucky. This part-time role (24 hours/week) in Covington offers an hourly wage of $18.00–$19.00 and focuses on coaching, case management, and connecting job seekers with WIOA training opportunities.

You will develop resumes, conduct mock interviews, and provide workshops to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency through employment services.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in managing a caseload of customers with regular frequency of communication and case notes.
• 1 year customers service experience.
• Attention to detail in data entry and accurately recording events and correspondence with customers.
• Ability to conduct outreach, both to large audiences as well as one to one, to get customers to commit to and engage in program activity.
• Must possess a strong commitment to Brighton Center's Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, strength-based, and culturally competent services aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Meet the unique needs of each family by bundling services, remaining solution-focused, and responding promptly.
• Assess job seekers for employment barriers, eligibility for WIOA services, and basic needs.
• Develop resumes, conduct mock interviews, and provide career coaching to job seekers.
• Facilitate group skill-building sessions and workshops.
• Prepare and submit Training Request for eligible customers pursuing WIOA training funds.
• Conduct community and employer outreach to promote services, recruit participants, and distribute up-to-date marketing materials.
