Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in the United States is seeking a part-time Maintenance Helper/Driver to support patient and staff transportation and facility operations. The role is 20 hours per week with no weekend shifts, offering flexible scheduling within the nursing center.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, assisting passengers on/off, logging routes and mileage, monitoring fuel, reporting maintenance needs, and delivering friendly service to patients and families while upholding safety

Qualifications

Current driver's license with an excellent driving record.
High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Transport patients, families and employees safely to and from the nursing center for appointments and activities.
Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking the vehicle.
Maintain route and mileage logs.
Monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and other fluids.
Report any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator.
Interact positively with patients and families.
