Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Public Health Cannabis Research Center is seeking Data Collectors to gather data for a study of local business practices. This temporary hourly position lasts 3-4 months with possible renewal and approximately 15 hours per week, mostly afternoons/evenings.

Mileage reimbursement is provided, and driving may be required for some shifts. Data Collectors will follow the study protocol, record observations for accuracy, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Must own a smartphone.
• Must be able to problem solve in a way that complies with study protocol.
• Selected team drivers must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, and pass a driving record check.
• Must be flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.
• Previous data collection experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data collection following the study protocol.
• Debrief/answer questions about observations with study team members.
• Complete University/study training requirements.
