Job summary

Roncalli Catholic High School - Omaha is seeking a part-time Youth Ministry position to plan and coordinate student retreats while promoting spiritual growth and Catholic identity. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate student retreat experiences for all grade levels.
• Collaborate with faculty, clergy, and guest speakers to design meaningful retreat programming.
• Recruit, train, and support student retreat leaders.
• Manage retreat logistics including schedules, communication, transportation, supplies, and budgets.
• Evaluate retreat effectiveness and recommend improvements for future programming.
• Work collaboratively with administration, theology faculty, counselors, and staff to support the spiritual formation of students.
• Participate in school events and activities that contribute to the Catholic culture of Roncalli Catholic.
• Help cultivate a school environment where students are known, valued, and encouraged to lead with faith and serve with purpose.
• Promote and strengthen the Catholic identity and spiritual life of the school community.
• Coordinate prayer services, liturgical celebrations, reconciliation opportunities, and faith-based programming.
• Support school Masses and religious observances in collaboration with school chaplain and administration.
• Develop opportunities for student prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth throughout the school year.
• Encourage student participation in campus ministry and faith leadership activities.

Requirements

• Practicing Catholic committed to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church.
• Experience in youth ministry, retreat leadership, campus ministry, education, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to connect with and mentor high school students.
• Passion for helping young people grow in their faith and relationship with Christ.
• Background in Campus Ministry and/or retreat facilitation.
