Job summary

WMTW-TV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, ME, is seeking a Part-Time Camera Operator to control visual broadcast equipment during newscasts. You will work with the news production team and report to the Operations Manager.

You will operate cameras, audio console, studio lighting, and related software, with early start shifts around 3:30am and weekend/holiday coverage to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using Windows-based computer software.
• Knowledge of studio lighting.
• In-person attendance is required.
• Climb ladders up to 15 feet and lift 25 pounds.
• Can work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.
• Engage with team to resolve unanticipated situations.
• Related military experience will be considered.

WMTW-TV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, ME., has an opening for a Part-Time Camera Operator. As Camera Operator, you will control the visual broadcast equipment during newscasts. You will work with the news production team and have a working knowledge of broadcast production operations to bring an organized and creative perspective to our television screens. You will report to the Operations Manager. The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
