Job summary

Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 division is seeking a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER for Centreville Public Schools in Centreville, MI. The role operates the POS, assists the Chef, and handles coffee service with station cleanliness.

Schedule is part-time, 7:30 AM–2:30 PM, days may vary. Prior food service experience preferred. Pay ranges from $14.25 to $15.00 per hour; training is provided.

• Part-time schedule; flexibility may be required.
• Willing to train and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system and performs cashier duties.
• Assists Chef and supports cafe/food preparation.
• Keeps cashier and coffee stations clean and stocked.
• Provides friendly service to customers in all retail areas.
• Maintains cash accuracy and completes end-of-shift deposits.
• Stocks and rotates food items and monitors temperatures.
