Job summary

Calvary Homes by Tandem Living in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Part-time Café Server to ensure prompt, friendly service for café guests, with a 64-hour biweekly schedule from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.

The role requires 2+ years of table-service experience in hospitality or healthcare dining. You will lead FOH operations, open/close dining areas, and ensure menu knowledge, allergens, and labeling accuracy. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of table-service experience in hospitality, senior living, or healthcare dining; lead or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation with clear and professional communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.
• Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the on-shift lead for Front of House (FOH) staff; assigns sections and side work, and oversees floor operations to ensure efficient service.
• Monitors dining areas, promptly clears and sanitizes vacant tables, and maintains cleanliness in assigned sections.
• Responsible for opening and closing the dining room, including setup, cleanliness, table settings, ambiance, and proper resetting of the space.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and dietary considerations, and ensures accurate labeling and signage are in place.
