Job summary

The City of Minot is accepting applications for a Part Time Bus Driver in the Transit Department. This position operates passenger buses of various sizes to provide safe and efficient transportation to citizens. It is open to all qualified internal and external applicants and will remain open until filled.

Starting wage is $20.96 per hour. This is a part-time, FLSA nonexempt, non-civil service position with no benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and some experience in bus or similar vehicle operation; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• A North Dakota Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate passenger buses of various sizes to provide safe and efficient transportation to citizens.
• Work under the continuing supervision of the Transit Operations Foreman.
