Job summary

Huntington DoubleTree by Hilton in Huntington, WV is seeking a Part-Time Breakfast Server to join our busy Food & Beverage team. This role requires mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts, with responsibilities for taking orders, serving guests, and maintaining restaurant standards.

You will work closely with the General Manager and department managers, ensure safety and cleanliness, collect payments, and help keep the dining area in top condition. A friendly, guest-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimal one year of experience in a similar public-facing role.
• Must meet state age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management and co-workers.
• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.
• Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Take food and beverage orders, retrieve, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages, and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Collect payments. Also assists in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
