Join to apply for the Part-Time Breakfast Attendant role at Big Cedar Lodge

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide prompt, hospitable service to our guests in a counter service restaurant setting. Assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness of the outlet. Deliver a memorable guest experience.

Hours Needed:

1. Friday from 5 am - 12 pm
2. Saturday from 6 am - 1 pm
3. Sunday from 6 am - 1 pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate computerized cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a neat and clean environment throughout work and guest areas.
• Prepare and portion food orders prior to and during the service period.
• Adhere to proper sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment, handling and preparation of food in accordance with health codes.
• Use kitchen equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Card and Smart Serve alcohol certification (we provide if not applicable).
• No prior experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals. Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills including calculating discounts, interest, and percentages.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
• Teamwork, prioritization, urgency, and guest satisfaction focus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular walking, standing, and computer work.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Seldom sitting.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs tasks under supervision using established procedures. Uses limited alternatives for problem resolution. Occasionally makes recommendations for work procedures and policies.
