Job summary

Meyer is seeking a part-time Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Operator to load/unload trucks, stock products, and perform route deliveries. The role requires valid CDL-endorsed license, DOT compliance, and forklift operation where needed.

Typical work is Mon–Fri, about 25 hours weekly, with pay at $22.66 per hour and opportunities for advancement within a growing, family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or similar CMV over 10,001 lbs.
• Valid truck driver license with appropriate state endorsement.
• Willing to pass drug screens, background checks and DOT medical card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; insurable at standard rates.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery/transfer trucks to make customer deliveries on route.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Drive trucks to route deliveries and meet schedules.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations.
• Inspect vehicles and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete paperwork for company and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance issues.
