Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team on a part-time basis in San Francisco, CA. You will maintain, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment to ensure patient safety and optimal performance.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in hospital biomedical equipment maintenance, an associate degree preferred, and the ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass background and drug screen (no exceptions).

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
