Job summary

Seattle Colleges is seeking part-time Biology instructors to teach courses across levels, in-class, hybrid, or online. You will engage diverse students and apply inclusive teaching strategies while assessing progress and providing timely feedback.

Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related field, demonstrate commitment to equity, and be able to teach evenings or weekends as needed. This position is governed by the AFT-Seattle contract.

• Master's or PhD in the field or related field from an accredited institution.

• Provide high-quality instruction using effective teaching strategies that support diverse student populations.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback.
• Ensure course materials are accessible in line with digital accessibility standards.
• Foster an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
• Utilize educational technologies and communication tools to support teaching and administration.

• Maintain and submit required documentation for applications and employment.
