Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a BIM Manager in Reston, VA to lead the implementation and governance of BIM processes across the project, ensuring models are structured, coordinated, and available to support engineering, procurement, construction, AWP, field execution, and turnover.

This part-time telework role requires at least three days in person each week; you will drive model coordination, clash detection, and data management while mentoring teams in BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related

Qualifications

• Significant experience across Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for BIM and project execution.
• Ability to communicate complex BIM concepts to all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing project standards, libraries, and master data management.
• Experience with BIM data management and configuration control.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows with client and JV partners or subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan and standards.
• Lead model coordination, clash detection, and data management.
• Coordinate model federation across platforms and disciplines.
• Ensure model data meets project requirements and supports turnover.
• Support integration of BIM with reality capture, GIS, and digital twins.
