Job summary

Resthaven is seeking a part-time Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, collections, and reconciliation for senior services. You will handle private pay and payer billing, respond to inquiries, and support month-end processes in a compassionate, mission-driven environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in accounts receivable, adherence to HIPAA, and collaboration with care teams to ensure smooth billing for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, healthcare administration, customer service, accounting support, senior living, or related business operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for residents and families regarding billing statements and insurance questions.
• Respond to billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Educate residents and families about billing processes and insurance coverage.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to resolve account concerns.
• Maintain compliant and accurate resident account records and documentation.
