Job summary

Palm Point Behavioral Health, affiliated with Universal Health Services, is seeking a Part Time Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator in Titusville, FL. You will monitor documentation and utilization, coordinate third-party authorizations, and participate in treatment planning with the care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating pre-certifications, reviews, and appeals, ensuring timely communications with payors, and supporting discharge planning while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in social work, mental health or related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years in health care case management or utilization review in a psychiatric/mental health setting.
• Certification: Current, valid State License (RN, LCSW, LMHC or LMFT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical content of medical records and collaborate with the treatment team to obtain data for authorization.
• Input pre-certifications and continued stay reviews into Midas, verify insurance coverage, and process patient payments into MS4.
• Remain trained in clinical criteria gathering and communication, and assist with other related duties.
