Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support children in their homes and regional centers as needed. You will help kids learn through play, reinforce communication and social skills, and work with families to track progress.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of experience with kids, and reliable transportation. Training is provided, with a schedule Monday–Friday 3:30pm–8pm and occasional weekend/evening sessions for flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer) — babysitting counts.
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Teach kids through play and activities to develop new skills.
• Be a positive role model and celebrate small daily victories.
• Stay active by moving, playing, and engaging during sessions.
• Keep sessions organized and track progress for families.
