Job summary

The GIANT Company is a leading grocery retailer committed to serving communities with fresh products and friendly service. This role focuses on receiving, storing, stocking, checking dates, and tracking product loss from damage or out-of-code items, while supporting store tasks as needed.

Primary duties include reviewing shifts, processing orders, setting up displays, and ensuring accurate age verification for alcoholic products in compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, prepare for duties, and comply with PPE requirements.
• Complete orders, receive, store, stock items, check dates, and manage out-of-code items.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, and handle program displays and resets.
• Cut or flatten cartons, load onto equipment, and transport to bale
• Handle customer transactions and purchases, validate ID, and follow state alcohol limits.
