Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Lafayette, IN is seeking a part-time Beauty Consultant to join our brand and deliver excellent customer service. You will help clients select tanning and skin care products and services in a welcoming salon environment.

The role emphasizes sales, service, and training with performance-based bonuses. We offer flexible scheduling, onboarding training, and opportunities for advancement within a vibrant team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Meeting sales goals measured daily/weekly/monthly
• Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner
• Educate customers on safe tanning practices and retail items
• Maintain a clean and organized salon
• Cash handling, opening/closing business
• Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking
