Job summary

Nordstrom in Seattle is seeking a Beauty Sales Associate to deliver personalized experiences in the Nordstrom Beauty department. You will engage customers, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and drive in-store and digital sales through strong product knowledge and relationship-building.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, stay current on beauty trends, manage appointments, and contribute to a welcoming environment while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in beauty sales or makeup application.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Knowledge of current beauty trends, products and brands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
• Keep department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay up-to-date on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
