Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Beauty Advisor to drive sales through a genuine passion for beauty and consultative client interactions. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets, and support replenishment and visual standards per Sephora at Kohl's standards.

You will build client loyalty, demonstrate products, stay current on beauty trends, participate in trainings, and assist with inventory, pricing changes, and visual merchandising to ensure a welcoming customer

Responsibilities

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate credibility to clients through knowledge of products and beauty trends.
• Inspire clients by demonstrating products and applying products to drive sales.
• Actively engage in required trainings to expand knowledge.
• Execute Sephora at Kohl’s visual merchandising and department standards, including tester maintenance and cleanliness.
• Support omni-processing within the department.
• Assist inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, and price changes.
• Communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor and support visual department elements.

What You’ll Do

• Build strong client loyalty and influence clients by identifying their needs and suggesting products to drive sales, including the opportunity to upsell products
• Demonstrate credibility to the client through knowledge of products and beauty trends
• Inspire clients through demonstrating products and application of products to drive sales
• Actively engage and complete all required training to expand knowledge
• Execute and maintain all Sephora visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets, tester maintenance and department cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Support omni-processing within the department
• Support inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, inventory counts and price changes
• Support visual elements of the department and communicate missed or damaged product/fixtures to the supervisor
