Job summary

GlowUp Kuwait in Akron is seeking a friendly Part-Time Barista to join our busy coffee shop. You will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages and light foods while delivering excellent customer service.

This role is open to newcomers as well as experienced baristas and requires weekend and holiday availability. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous barista or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies and specialty drinks.
• Take customer orders and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions and making recommendations.
• Light food preparation such as sandwiches, pastries and salads.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Part-Time Barista to join our team at a busy coffee shop in Akron.

As a Barista you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as light food items.

This position is suitable for both experienced baristas looking for part-time work as well as newcomers to the field who are eager to learn and gain experience. No previous experience is necessary but the ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and excellent customer service skills.
